The camera, the illumination, the processor, the power supply and the communications via Ethernet in addition with the license plate recognition software, Lector Engine, integrate into one single device. The format “All in One” allows a quick and easy installation and can be used for ticketless parking.

The device is designed to be integrated with other elements of the car park, it has a small footprint and is made of stainless steel to ensure robustness. It is weather-proof and anti-vandalism proof and it can be installed outdoors or indoors.

Its high performance camera and synchronized pulsed infrared illumination system combined with the Lector Engine software ensure high-speed image processing and high reliability. It is capable handling any type of plates regarding their state or condition.

Ticketless Parking

The ticketless parking system provided by Versatronics is an improved car parking solution that is aimed at achieving an advanced smart parking system by eliminating certain maintenance costs, getting rid of the troubles associated with lost tickets, and improving traffic flow entering and exiting car park facilities.

Our ticketless parking system works with an automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system to capture vehicle’s details as they approach the facility’s entrance. It can be integrated with digital screens that display each vehicle’s arrival time, a camera inside the car park to detect vehicles within each space, a LED-based indication system which changes colors from red to green and vice versa to reflect the availability status of parking spaces, extensive signage to guide guests, electronic display boards to indicate the direction and quantity of available parking bays and a ticketless payment system. At the entrance, vehicles are not required to stop as parking tickets are not issued.

Our ticketless parking system is a timed system, meaning each vehicle that drives past the entrance after its details have been captured is given an entry time and a time frame to stay in the car park before parking charges begin to apply. Vehicle owners can check their entry time regularly by using their license plate details at any pay station. In most ticketless parking systems, the first three hours (3hours) of parking are usually free, with charges applying immediately after the third hour.

When it’s time to leave the car park, vehicles that have spent less than three hours in the lot can simply proceed to the exit. A camera checks the license plate details at each exit and recognizes that they have stayed less than three hours, and the boom gate automatically opens.

Vehicles that have been parked for more than three hours will be required to pay for the extra time before leaving through the exit in any of three payment methods:

  • By entering their license plate detail at one of the many pay stations located premises
  • By registering online to authorize an automatic credit card charge when exiting the car park.
  • By inserting credit card at car park exit barriers.

The ticketless parking system is flexible and customizable, hence it can be designed to meet the specific requirements of all types of car parks. From low, medium, or high traffic applications, to low, medium and high traffic volumes, a befitting ticketless parking system can be designed and installed.
